Cypress Bay’s First Ever Hackathon

Presented by SHPE

This isn't just for coders—it's for anyone with an idea and the drive to build it. We live in a time where technical skills are no longer the barrier between an idea and a business. Come collaborate, create, and show what you're capable of.

What is a Hackathon? A hackathon is a competition where groups of people collaborate to create ideas and develop prototypes (websites, apps, or designs) that solve real-world problems. This is how many billion-dollar companies today were created, including Twitter, Zapier, and Tinder.

Event Details:

  • Duration: Tuesday to Wednesday (~1 Week)

  • Teams: Form your own team of 1–3 people.

  • Perks: Food provided, Prizes for winners, and Service Hours!

  • Fee: $5 per person (must be paid to be eligible for prizes).

This is an open event for all students at Cypress Bay High School. No club membership is required to participate!
